About 130 guests flocked to our anniversary celebrations as part of the 3rd Electroplating Convention to find out what lies behind our slogan "... On the face of it......and beyond" 

During the morning and after the official welcoming speech by the Mayor, Norbert Feith, four specialist lectures were offered to inform all those interested of the opportunities provided by the surface treatments industry and the challenges faced by it.

For the visitors from the trade, society and politics, this was followed by a convivial relaxation period, allowing them to exchange ideas and information.

At the same time, the participants were able to inspect the testing facilities and innovations available at the Institute.

The prize draw produced the following three winners:

1st prize, a Sony eBook reader: Dr Elke Moosbach, Moosbach & Kanne

2nd prize, a Zwilling Twin Profection kitchen knife: Michael Feld, Field laboratory

3rd prize, a € 50 voucher for the Saturn electrical goods shop: René Bohncke
